Nicole Curran Disables Instagram Account to Stop Death Threats After Beyoncé Incident
Nicole Curran may not be a household name, but the Beyhive is certainly aware of her now.
Much has been of Game 3’s subplot when it appeared Beyoncé was not fond of Nicole Curran, wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, leaning over and saying something to Jay-Z. Curran spoke to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne in tears explaining she disabled her Instagram account after a night full of death threats on social media.
During Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., Curran and husband Joseph S. Lacob, Golden State’s majority owner, sat courtside next to Beyoncé, 37, and husband Jay-Z, 49, as the Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors, 123-109. Curran was video leaning close to Beyoncé to speak with Jay, which may or may not have annoyed the superstar singer in the process.
Curran also cleared up what happened last night amid much speculation online. Telling Shelburne she leaned over as she could not hear the question Jay-Z asked her due to the loud atmosphere.
