On this date (March 15) in 2011 in Long Beach, California, Nathaniel Hale, better known as rap/R&B crooner Nate Dogg, died from complications after suffering several strokes. He was 41 years old.
He was featured on tracks from Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Fabolous and more. He was also a four-time Grammy nominee.
Nate was an intricate member of our culture he will forever be hip hop’s favorite hook man, his legacy lives on through his music and the experiences he shared with friends, peers and fans.
