Lil Wayne to Join ‘NFL GameDay Morning’ Weekly on NFL Network

The New Orleans legend is joining the NFL Network's 'NFL GameDay Morning' show as a weekly guest this Sunday.

Weezy's first appearance alongside Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner and the gang will take place this weekend

NFL Media league shared a statement announcing that Young Money founder will be a weekly guest on the network’s show NFL GameDay Morning beginning on Sunday (November 17). He will show up every Sunday for the rest of the season, talking football with Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner, Steve Mariucci and Gerald McCoy.

Lil Wayne again expressed his dissatisfaction with being overlooked for the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX in his hometown of New Orleans.

The show airs at 9 AM ET.

Check the big announcement below.

In September, Wayne admitted that being snubbed for a headlining spot at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show in his hometown of New Orleans in favor of Kendrick Lamar “broke” him. “That hurt. It hurt a lot. You know what I’m talking about. It hurt a whole lot,” he said at the time. “I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown. And for automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that was my position. So I blame myself for that. But I thought that was nothing better than that spot and that stage and that platform in my city, so it hurt. It hurt a whole lot.”

During Lil Wayne's recent Lil Weezyana Fest, he told the crowd he had dreamed of doing the Super Bowl halftime show and that this year "it was ripped away from me."
