Katt Williams honored with street name & Key to the City of Avondale

The legendary comedian and actor Katt Williams was honored in his hometown of Cincinnati with the unveiling of “Katt Williams Way.”

Cincinnati honors Katt Williams with “Katt Williams Way,’ a ceremonial street name now adorning the intersection of Reading Road and Maple Avenue in Avondale.

The city of Cincinnati unveiled "Katt Williams Way" in Avondale on Saturday (April 19). The Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney represented the city as it unveiled the new designation for Reading Road with a sign at the street's intersection with Maple Avenue.

Katt Williams grew up on Maple Avenue. He also spent time in Dayton and Florida throughout his childhood. The official name of Reading Road will not be changed. However, it will from now on honorarily also be known as Katt Williams Way.

The event concluded with Williams taking the stage as the final speaker before the street sign bearing his name was revealed to a cheering crowd.
