Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry suffered a foot injury in the second quarter of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics.

Curry left the game after the injury and never came out of the locker room after halftime.

The Warriors officially ruled him out for the game shortly after the second half started. For more on Curry's injury, we have you covered with everything we know below.

Curry was ruled out for the game with "left foot soreness," according to Warriors PR.

During the second quarter of Golden State's game against the Celtics on Wednesday, Curry got tangled up with Marcus Smart fighting for a loose ball. He came up hobbling and tried to play through it, but eventually went into the locker room early.

When both teams came out to start the second half, Curry was not on the floor with the Warriors. The team announced he would miss the rest of the game shortly thereafter.

After the game, head coach Steve Kerr said Curry will receive an MRI on his foot.

"We'll know after the MRI," he said in response to how long Curry will be out.
