Taking to a new blog post to give fans an update on what they can expect following ‘Might Delete Later.’

J. Cole says he promised to be more consistent with his music while balancing his family
The North Carolina-bred MC hopped to his blog site with a new post this week. Cole admitted that he hasn’t been tending to his site as much as he should because of all of his other commitments.
“I knowwww mannnn. I’m off to a bad start with the consistency, but I’ma do better! Watch!!” he assured his readers. “I been locked in on the music while also balancing family life. It’s a juggling act that a blog post wouldn’t do justice in explaining. But with that said, I’m back tending to this garden. I think I’m gonna let some other people post on here too, to get the vibes up.”
Cole continued: “It’ll motivate me to check every day, and will fuel the desire to post more. I’ma start with Ib and Scott and then expand from there. To anybody in the squad reading, if you trying to contribute I’m taking applications!”
The upcoming release from Cole will be his first since following his April 2024 mixtape Might Delete Later which featured a diss track titled “7 Minute Drill” aimed at Kendrick Lamar. However, he famously retracted the diss and called it “the lamest shit I ever did in my f**king life.” Stay tuned for more information.
To hold fans over until new music drops, Cole released his mixtapes The Come Up, The Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights on streaming services last November.
