Dr. Dre explained why Drake's bars angered him during Kendrick Lamar's feud: “Ah, Adios!”

The West Coast producer sided with Kendrick Lamar after hearing Drake “say something negative about Kendrick’s wife and kids”

The N.W.A legend says ‘That Made Me Say, "Ah, Adios!"' after Drake brings up Kendrick’s family during the beef

Dr. Dre is riding for his Compton partner Kendrick Lamar and he wants everybody to know about it.

The hip-hop mogul sat down for the debut episode of The Unusual Suspects With Kenya Barris and Malcolm Gladwell, on Thursday (Jan. 30), the legendary producer was not shy about picking sides. He also said Lamar’s “Not Like Us” ended and didn’t like how Drake spoke ill of  Kendrick’s family on the songs.

Barris noted that Kendrick’s Pop Out concert made him “feel proud to be from L.A.”

“I love that record,” Dre said, per Billboard. “I’ma say this on camera. I don’t want to get negative. My whole shit is about being positive and moving forward and all that shit, but the fact I heard Drake say something negative about Kendrick’s wife and his kids, that made me say, ‘Ah, adios!'”

Throughout the battle, Drake took shots at Lamar’s family on “Push Ups,” “Family Matters”, and “The Heart Part 6.”Drake alleged that Kendrick allegedly physically abused his wife Whitney Alford. Drizzy claimed that Dave Free, Kendrick’s creative and business partner Dave Free, was the real father of one of his children.

Dre himself has committed violence against women: Journalist Dee Barnes has repeatedly spoken out about the "No Diggity" artist physically assaulting her. Dre attacked Barnes at a party in Hollywood in 1991 after she reported on the beef between his group N.W.A. and Ice Cube.

"Any man that puts his hands on a female is a fucking idiot," Dre said in a 2017 HBO documentary. "He's out of his fucking mind, and I was out of my fucking mind at the time. I fucked up, I paid for it, I'm sorry for it, I apologize for it."

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for most weeks atop the Hot Rap Songs passing Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” in October.

The Death Row legend made a surprise guest appearance at Lamar's Pop Out concert last June where he introduced “Not Like Us.”

“Pst, I see dead people.” K-Dot went on to perform the song 5 times causing the crowd to go into a frenzy. Additionally, the song has been nominated for several Grammys.
