Chicago Bulls’ Patrick Beverley blames today’s Rap Music for Ja Morant’s behavior

“I think music has a lot to do with this,” Pat Bev said.

Fans believes Ja Morant is being influenced by NBA YoungBoy

Bulls guard’ Patrick Beverley thinks bad parenting and the current rap culture are the biggest reasons for Ja Morant’s recent problems.

Many different players and analysts have had their takes on Ja Morant's recent behavior and gun incident. Patrick Beverley's most recent one probably takes the cake for the most unexpected.

Recently, Pat Beverley was asked on an episode of Barstool Rundown what he thought was the reason for Morant's behavior, and his response....

“Lost his mind …. Parenting, parenting,” Beverley said. “I think music has a lot to do with this now. You know, especially with this culture. Everyone holding a gun in the video is okay. You know, bling on your teeth is okay. Pants half down your ass, that’s okay. So, that’s like okay now. Back in the day there was a motherf*cker on the beach in a silk shirt talking about some ‘Yeah, baby, let’s party like we’re in the 80s.’ Everybody had on sick shirts and everybody was dressed the same. It’s just a product of what we listen to. The culture now is ‘shoot them up, bang, bang, shoot them up, bend you over, I got this amount of money, I’m on private jets, that that that.’ That’s what the younger generation is. Sadly to say it shouldn’t be based on our music, but it is mostly based on what we listen to and that’s how it is."

It appears that Ja Morant Is a huge NBA YoungBoy fan?

Ja remains out for the Memphis Grizzlies as he continues to work on himself following the string of controversies he found himself in. To recall, Morant has been in hot water after he was seen showing off a gun during an IG Live while he was in a Denver nightclub, and it only got worse when photos of him with a stripper from the said nightclub got leaked. The youngster has also been accused of assaulting a teenager during her little sister’s volleyball game.

In latest news, Morant has left a counseling program in Florida and met with NBA commissioner Adam Silver on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

In addition to Ja Morant’s incident, ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski confirm Morant suspended for eight-games without pay.

It appears that Ja Morant Is a huge NBA YoungBoy and fans saying he needs to stop listening to YB.

“Ja Morant problem is he thinks he in the same NBA as youngboy,” tweeted one fan.

“This is when I realized Ja Morant gotta stop listening to NBA YoungBoy,” another fan tweeted.

In February, “I was flooded with millions of dollars since the time I was 16, all the way to this point in my life,” the Baton Rouge, LA rapper told Billboard during a Wednesday (Feb. 1) cover story interview. “I woke up one morning and was like, ‘Damn, they got me. Look at the sh*t I done spoke about. Look at the sh*t I put in these people ears.’ Man, I feel very wrong about a lot of things. How many lives I actually am responsible for when it comes to my music?”

YoungBoy continued his introspection, saying “How many kids and people have got in a car or put this sh*t in their ears and actually went and hurt someone? And now, I’m sitting back like, damn, I can’t do it all in one day. But I promise to clean whatever I can clean. But it’s gon’ take time.”
