Cam'ron and Mase blamed Jim Jones for Gervonta Davis draw fight against Lamont Roach Jr. on Saturday night.

Cam'ron and Mase blame ‘Bad Energy’ on Gervonta Davis walkout by Dipset’ Jim Jones and Juelz Santana
On the latest It Is What It Is podcast episode, Cam'ron reacted to Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Lamont Roach Jr. after their controversial majority draw. Cam weighed in on Davis walking out with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana before Davis’ fight against Lamont Roach on Saturday (March 1). After twelve rounds, one judge at ringside had it 115-113 in ‘Tank’s favour, whilst the remaining two couldn’t split the fighters and called it 114-114.
The majority draw verdict would be extremely different had referee Steve Willis called a knockdown in round nine when Davis voluntarily took a knee. The champion did so, went over to his corner and had his coach wipe his face, later revealing that it was ‘grease’ from a recent hair appointment that was causing the issue.
Referee Steve Willis has been widely criticised for failing to make the appropriate call and give ‘Tank’ a count, preventing Roach from a world title upset victory. On the incident, Davis said he still believes he won the fight.
On Monday (March 3), Cam'ron said on the “It Is What It Is” podcast, “The people you're with can possibly f--k your energy up,” insinuating that the former Dipset members ruined Gervonta Davis moment by performing during Gervonta Davis walkout.

Jim Jones recently challenged Cam’ron to get in the boxing ring on The Breakfast Club. “He’s a bird head — tell him he don’t want no smoke,” said Jones. “10 million right now. I’ll catch a flight wherever you at. I’ll meet you in any boxing ring.”
In January, Cam’ron went off on Jones on an episode of It Is What It Is after the latter criticised his relationship with Mase. After opening his rant by addressing Jones and saying, “You are from the Bronx, bro. You are not from Harlem. … I did not grow up with you,” Cam’ron suggested that Jones became a part of the Diplomats by “dick-riding.”
Cam’ron made his point by directing people watching him to go look up several freestyles from that time period and see if they find Jones in any of them. “Are you at any of these places? No, n***a,” said Cam’ron. “You was not there, man. You wasn’t there, n***a.”
“This is what happened, how he got cool with us,” Cam’ron continued. “Those freestyles that we just showed y’all, go Google them and have fun with them when you get time. We were popping. There wasn’t no internet. … We were super-duper poppin’ in the streets prior to the internet. Everybody knew that we was about to get a record deal.”
Cam’ron then suggested another reason that Jones became a Diplomat. “You ain’t made none of this,” he said. “You was a fan. I put you down because you had a free crib and you were a nice guy. That’s how you got down originally. Period.”
