Boosie pleaded his case on “X” asks Donald Trump for pardon over gun charges.
The Baton Rouge rapper is looking for help from Donald Trump now that he’ll be returning to the Oval Office in January 2025
Boosie BadAzz has asked the re-elected 47th president for pardon after the stunning 2024 election results.
Over the summer, Boosie announced he was re-indicted via Twitter “X” in his federal gun case in San Diego—less than two weeks after it had been dismissed.
On Wednesday, (Nov. 6) the rapper posted on his X page, sharing a now-deleted message asking Trump for a pardon regarding the gun charges he’s facing in San Diego, California. Boosie listed the facts of his case, explaining that he was indicted even though a judge previously dismissed it. Now he's looking to the "big homie" for help resolving his issues.
"@realDonaldTrump CAN YOU PARDON ME ON MY FED CASE ?i'm a NON VIOLENT FELON. THE COURTS RULED THAT a NON VIOLENTCANNOTBE CHARGED WITH A 922g," said Boosie."THE JUDGE DISMISSED MY CASE BUT THE RULIN HAS BEEN APPEALED SO ONCE AGAIN I WAS INDICTED IM FIGHTING THIS ASE THIS IS THE EXACT CASE to US VS DUARTE THAT WAS RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL."
He continued, "oh one more thing can u sit down with me n talk about U GIVING POLICE immunity.I THINK THIS WILL MOTIVATE OFFICERS TO COMMIT DEADLY CRIMES."PLEASE DONT DO THIS" anyway congratulations on your win LETS GET THIS MONEY N DROP THESE TAXES shit killing me."
Boosie’s gun case stems from June 2023 when he was arrested in San Diego while exiting a courtroom after just having a separate gun case dismissed by the court.
It was later revealed via TMZ, that he was being held on multiple gun charges, including “felony possession of a firearm and transporting firearms across highways.” According to federal court documents, the “Set It Off” rapper earned himself an indictment over his Instagram Live posts.
In the posts, Boosie can be seen tucking a gun into the waistband of his jeans. The posts were essentially what got Boosie in trouble as federal law prohibits convicted felons from carrying and/or owning guns.
He was eventually bonded out and the charges later dismissed, but they were re-instated in July along with an additional charge of knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing with abuse of a controlled substance.
